Lightweight insulated concrete also known as lwic is a material intended for use as an insulation and substrate for support and attachment of roofing membranes on slope roofs. Lightweight concrete used in roof deck construction typically consists of portland cement foam water and admixtures. Profiles are a fraction of the weight of our conventional roof tiles and are perfect for re roof projects. The end result of the structural lightweight mix is a deck that can be 20 25 lighter than standard structural concrete.
